INFO

Requirements

In order to join our day camp, the followings are mandatory:

  1. All dogs must be up to date on distemper, parvovirus and rabies (for dogs older than 16 weeks) vaccinations. Bordetella vaccine is not mandatory but highly recommended.

  2. Puppies can join us 2 weeks after 2nd set of puppy vaccinations.

  3. Spay and neuter policy: All NEW dogs over the age of 6 months must be spayed/neutered in order to be accepted to our day camp program. Puppies that have joined our day camp program prior to 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered at 9 months of age. We may suggest an early break from day camp until your puppy is spayed/neutered if they display concerning behaviours, such as excessive humping, marking, aggression etc.

  4. Dogs that are in heat are not allowed in the building.

  5. All dogs must be friendly and well socialized. Excessive barking and play biting may result in timeout. Dogs that exhibit any aggressive behaviours will be removed from the play area and kept separate until picked up by owner.

  6. Dogs that are currently ill or injured are not permitted at day camp. For dogs that have been diagnosed with a serious communicable disease within the past 30 days, a veterinary clearance letter is required before returning to day camp.

  7. A behavioural assessment is required for all dogs prior to attending our day camp. A reassessment is mandatory for dogs that have passed the initial assessment but have not attended our day camp for at least 6 months before returning to day camp.

  8. Dogs must be on leash in the lobby and outside of our building.
